Product Description

Carboor Harvest Chilli Dukkah is a spicy take on the traditional Egyptian spice mix with hazelnuts.  It is hand made in small batches using the best available Australian hazelnuts (from our own farm and those of our grower partners).  These nuts are lightly roasted and coarsely ground before mixing with the best spices.  The nuts and spices are left coarse to achieve a nice crunchy texture.

Each batch is rigorously quality tested with hazelnut oil and ciabatta on a Saturday afternoon after a long farmers market.

This product is packed in a glass jar.

Lovingly made in Victoria with all Australian nuts (80% hazelnuts), coriander seed, cumin seed, coriander powder, cumin powder, thyme, sesame seed, lemon pepper, chilli pepper, chilli powder, black pepper, pink salt.

Usage Suggestions

A delectable brew with a smooth nutty flavour, Café Femenino offers up a rich and rewarding taste, with notes of blueberry and dark chocolate.

This is a coffee grown high in the Andes in far north Peru, with a special program close to our hearts. We roast this high grown bean expertly, which holds the clean acidity of capsicum and plummy tastes. This cuts the milk, yet develops smooth body that holds long on the palate with red wine Cabernet notes and finishes with the touch of dark chocolate. This is one of our most popular coffees for use at home in a plunger or filter, but shines in complexity with an espresso extraction.

Care is taken at each step to ensure the honey remains true to its origins.  The honey is spun from the comb, settled, strained once then bottled.

Each honey variety presents its own unique taste from the sweet Ironbark to the robust Mountain Harvest. Honey is never just honey, so try a couple and find your favourite.

Australian grown in shell walnuts  Due to seasonal availability we may supply Chandler, Tulare or other variety sourced from our grower partners in north east Victoria as well as the Riverina.

Australian grown hazelnuts are fresh and of excellent quality, free from chemical residues and microbial contamination.  Does not have the sickly rancid taste of imported walnuts in shell.

Australian walnuts have a great taste and crunchy texture when raw or roasted and a bonus they are so healthy for you.

Both the 1kg and 10kg variants of this product are packed in netting bags.

 Product Description

Carboor Harvest Dry Roasted Hazelnuts are oven baked in small batches using the best available Barcelona or Ennis variety hazelnuts from our own farm and those of our grower partners around Australia.  The hazelnuts are lightly dry roasted (no oil) at a low temperature to preserve the high nutritional value of the nuts but reduce the moisture levels and free the natural oils.  Following roasting, the nuts are allowed to cool before packing.

The nuts are not blanched.

This product is as natural as you will ever get!  It is not pasteurised so does carry residual risk of mould and salmonella (normally eliminated by the pasteurisation kill step) and is not treated with insecticide, so there is a minor risk of pantry moth.  Pantry moth is a major problem with nuts as larvae lay eggs in the nuts before development of the hard shell during the maturation process on the tree.  Roasting is the only kill step used with this product, but it is at a low temperature so that it doesn’t destroy the nutritional value, but it also means that pantry moth and mould spores survive the roasting process.

All retail variants of this product (125g, 250g, 500g and 1kg) are packed in re-sealable stand-up pouches.  The wholesale variants (4kg and 12kg) are packed in cartons with plastic liners.
